LOCAL FLOWERS
We grow what we sell, so we only have what’s in season (see the bottom of this page for a list). If you are looking for a specific bloom out of season, we are not the florist for you. However, we can create something amazing with what we have seasonally available if you’re willing to take a chance with us.
Flowers pictured on our website are not the exact bouquets you will receive when you make a purchase. We use what’s blooming on our farm each week and sometimes source from farms in Colorado. If you want a specific, loved flower (in season) or color palette in your order, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it!
FLOWER CARE
For the longest vase life, bouquets should be put in water as soon as possible. Cut the stems before placing in water. For subscription drop offs, the recipient can leave a large jar of clean water for us to drop the flowers in. At the farmers market, we offer hydration options for purchase.
The best thing you can do for flower health and longevity is to replace the water daily. Also, keep flowers out of the sun and heat. You can cut the stems every few days. Flowers are a natural product, and some last longer than others. You can snip out or remove faded flowers and continue to enjoy the ones that still look good.
You can generally expect at least 5 days of vase life from our flowers before quality declines, and up to 2 weeks for some flowers.
RESCHEDULING
For arrangements, before 24 hours of the pickup or delivery time, the order may be rescheduled for a future date or exchanged for store credit.
For flower subscriptions, if you will be out of town during one of your subscription weeks, we can reschedule that week’s delivery one week later for monthly subscriptions or move a week to the end of a 6-week subscription. You may also offer that week’s flowers for delivery to a friend instead.
PAYMENTS
We offer a 3% cash or Zelle discount. Just contact us if you’d like to pay with one of these methods.
REFUNDS
As flowers are a perishable product, we do not offer refunds. Our goal is to provide best-quality seasonal, local blooms that you’ll get to enjoy for several days. If you have an issue with floral quality, please contact us within 24 hours of order receipt to discuss a solution.
RECIPIENT CONSENT
Customers purchasing a gift acknowledge that they know the recipient and have their consent to send a delivery to their address.
LOCAL FLORAL SEASONS
These are not the same types of flowers you find at King Soopers. 75% of the flowers sold in the United States are imported from other countries. Imported flowers must be sprayed with chemicals, packed in boxes, and refrigerated on planes and trucks for the days it takes to get them from another country to your hands. Refrigerated transport comes at a high environmental cost and is also tough on flowers. That means local growers have special flowers available that have shorter vase lives or don’t ship well, like dahlias.
